Course - Zwift Gran Fondo
PACE - 2.5 w/kg Av TEMPO, 3.0 to 4.0 w/kg RAMPS / CLIMBS

Come and join the Team to celebrate 2 years running events on Zwift as we take on their longest Fondo Course at 98 km and approximately 1200m of climbing. Even if you can’t make the whole event then please join us for as long as you can, it will be fun as always. As a Birthday present to you all this is also a rare opportunity to Unlock our Team CLS kit but only if you complete the full event (Pen to End) so don’t be late.

This longest Fondo route takes you on a meandering – and ascending – tour of Watopia. Start out with the original KOM in the reverse direction before climbing the Volcano. From there, you’ll do a lap of the Mayan Ruins jungle and then take on the steeper – but shorter – original KOM in the forward direction. Mix in flat laps around downtown Watopia and the Volcano Circuit before finishing at the Epic KOM summit (arch; not tower).

Don’t forget to pop your Team CLS kit on if you have already unlocked it on either our Sunday Chill ‘n’ Spin ride or one of our Rise ‘n’ Shine Saturday Races. You will find a mix of CAT riders in the pen for this one but we ride together and support each other as much as possible.

The leader will be focussed on keeping their Average at around 2.5 w/kg on Zwift Power Live Data and riding mid pack using the double draft. If you are a ‘B’ CAT driving at the front you may find your average closer to 3.0 w/kg so everyone will see the benefits. For instructions on how to register with Zwiftpower visit this page.

We run a Team Facebook Group, which we encourage people to follow for news and other group ride info and events and a place where you can even order our kit to wear in real life. It is also a great place to ask any questions you may have about Zwift and we will do our best to answer them for you. We have tried to put together a FULL weekly package that will allow riders to both enjoy their indoor sessions and back that up with some great workouts that will improve your fitness.
