That finish screen with everyone over cat should be sent in to Zwift, every, single, time. Hey Zwift: here's your problem, it's affecting my experience: fix it. If every rider did this they would be inundated and for the sake of their support team have to do something. This problem is primarily a Zw...
Seems to be a rampant C group issue, it's not uncommon for most of the top 10 to be way over the C group cap. It's ridiculous Zwift enables it, the fact that riders do it, well, that's second to Zwift's ridiculousness in not having any category enforcement within the game whatsoever. They've got who...
Thanks Sticky, I appreciate it. I don't know what was going on with that other guy, I saw someone (that I presume was him but was too fast to see) zip by at about 2x the speed everyone else. I've seen similar activity (from other users) before where they are doing very low watts yet travelling at a ...
One way is to use event join as transportation to another world, then quit the event to free ride, though you may have to wait in the pen until event start, so be aware of the event's start time to minimize wait.
Unfortunately only workarounds at this point.
Thank you for travelling Air Watopia.
Cat rating is taken from average 20 min power right? So in this case crits should not bump riders to another level because NP is higher in crits than in other races where more steady power is needed. Assume a 75kg rider has a FTP of 4W (300W). For testing this FTP according to protocol you need to ...

...If race time is less than 20 mins it wouldn't count would it?
Correct; you can only set a 20 minute power by riding for 20 minutes.
Bologna TT is a perfect example of this, many have a sub-20 finish time.
Punch % is very low for racing. 20min and 5min power appear less than 10% different, for racing, there should be a large spread, more like 20%. The race that qualified you for B has a 4.7% differential from 5 to 20min. Obviously you have some very high power, 340w for 20 is very good, but power disp...
You guys are on the right track, good sub A riders know that greater weight (and the more functional that weight is, the better) = more headroom in power. That's the name of the game. This rule is what makes Sub-A cats a completely different game than A/A+ cat, there is the element of a limit and th...
Not all riders at the top of one cat are going to get a better workout in the cat above. In my case I upgraded to A because I was at the top end of B and thought it would be a better challenge. It was detrimental because I ended up only doing short max efforts to stay with the group and then low te...
As an adult human, no-one over the age of 12 enjoys winning without a challenge. So why not bump everyone up a category who wins 3 events in the last 90 days? That way the people who are phenomenal Zwift athletes get a fresh challenge and the rest of the talentless individuals get a more open compe...
