Averages don't explain it all. If you look at the stats in the history and this particular race it is clear he is a mid B and he doesn't belong in C.
Yesterday I was thinking about joining this race. In the end I was not able to join but today I was curious about the results in the C category https://zwiftpower.com/events.php?zid=289333 From my perspective this guy is far above the category limit ... https://zwiftpower.com/profile.php?z=554716 Th...

a very general rule is bigger humans have bigger hearts so they need to beat less to pump the blood round the body, teny tiny guys like myself are like hummingbirds and have to go some cos some simply because the heart is smaller I am quite sure my heart rate is far lower than a 200kg fat person. This isn't the case whatever the terrain watts wins. I accept this is correct on flats but should be balanced on climbs. I watched a 60kg ri...
Yes, this is a nice discussion....but what about those who race but not registered at ZP?They also do have big influences on the race and the result.
I just take it as a training and I really don't care if others are fair, I only do care if the simulation is fair....and from my perspective it is far away from fair...so that makes me really not care at all if others are fair...Zwift is already unfair within.
You can also take it as an advantage...your training gets harder and maybe you find some stimulus to get the maximum out of yourself.
