Date Title Race ID Course Distance Categories
Segments and Power

  • Every race your best segment times and power are recorded.
  • Each day we calculate the average times and power for all riders over the last 90 days.
  • Using standard deviation your segments are given a score from 0 to 600 (300 being the mean/average).
  • Using standard deviation your power levels are given a score from 0 to 300 (150 being the mean/average).
  • Your 3 best points for each segment and power effort are added to a list.
  • From this list we then take your 5 best points and total them.

Racing Points

  • A race must have at least 5 finishers in the final processed results to qualify for points.
  • Available points is simply the average skill of the top 5 finishers divided by 100. If 5 riders have a score of 6000 the winner will recieve 60 points.
  • Points distribution is calculated by the winners points divided by number of finishers. A 60 point race with 10 finishers will see 54 points going to 2nd, 48 points going to 3rd and so on.
  • Every race earns a minimum of 1 point for all riders.
  • Only the last 30 days worth of points are used.
  • There is a cap of 1,000 points total.

Category assignment

  • You are assigned a category based on FTP calculations in 20 minute or longer races over the last 90 days.
    • A = 4.2wkg
    • B = 3.4wkg
    • C = 2.7wkg
  • The category is a minimum suggestion and you are free to race above it (B can race in A).
  • Some races will enforce the suggested category.
  • If you have been assigned too high a category due to miscalibration there will be a demotion request form coming soon.
